Stanley Sharks Swim Team

The Stanley Swim Team has been a staple at the Stanley Recreation Club since the early 70s.  We train athletes for competitive swimming of all 4 strokes, including legal starts and finishes. 

The Sharks decided to leave the North Meck Swim League as of August 2025. In, the Fall of 2025, the Riverbend Swim League was formed and we joined that league.  We are 1 of 4 teams: Westport, Cowans Ford, Latta Springs/Stephens Grove are the teams we compete against.  This is a great opportunity to introduce your child to the sport of swimming focused on good sportsmanship.  We are excited to be a part of this league and offer this amazing experience for our swimmers.  Typically having 1 swim meet a week, 2 home and 2 away. The end of season Championship Meet will be held around the last weekend of June.
