Stanley Sharks Swim Team

The Stanley Swim Team has been a staple at the Stanley Recreation Club since the early 70s.  We train athletes for competitive swimming of all 4 strokes, including legal starts and finishes. 

The Sharks entered the North Meck Swim League the summer of 2023.  We are 1 of 5 teams: Westport, Cowans Ford, Birkdale, Wedgewood, Latta Springs/Stephens Grove are the teams we compete against.  This is a great opportunity to introduce your child to the sport of swimming and good sportsmanship.  We are excited to be a part of this league and offer this amazing experience for our swimmers.  Typically having 1 swim meet a week, 2 home and 2 away with a Bye week. The end of season Championship Meet will be held around the first week of July.
