Anna started swimming competitively when she was 5 years old for the Stanley Swim Team. She coached the Sharks for 14 years alongside her Mother, Cathy H Kirkland. Attended Western Carolina University, where she swam on the Club team. Majored in Parks and Recreation Management and has worked in the aquatics field for 27 years. Her passion for aquatics and swimming is like none other. Anna Loves the Stanley Pool and Loves the Sharks! We are excited to have Coach Anna back with us for our fourth season.
Jake started swimming at Stanley when he was 6 years old. He has swam competitively for the Gaston Gators and for East Gaston High School. Jake has also worked at Stanley as a Lifeguard and Assistant Manager for past 5 years. Jake is currently enrolled as a college student in the health field. He has coached Stanley for the past 3 years and the CCS Middle school team this past year. We are excited to have Jake join us again this year.
